Hello, and welcome! This site offers a brief overview of who I am and what I do.
Antimortine / Andrey Kopnin
I am a Data Scientist passionate about the intersection of technology, the human mind, and fundamental questions of existence.
Professional Sphere
In my work, I'm interested not only in the practical aspects of machine learning but also in its theoretical foundations: the mathematics and algorithms underlying AI, as well as the ethical questions related to its development and application.
Technical Projects
Some of my open-source projects:
-
Codex-AI:
An AI-powered tool leveraging LLM and RAG to assist writers with long-form fiction.
-
Context Curator:
A GUI utility for converting code repositories into context files for Large Language Models (preserving structure info, ignoring irrelevant files, etc.).
-
The full list of projects is available on my GitHub profile.
Creative Works & Projects
In my free time, I write science fiction and psychological/philosophical techno-thrillers. My main works can be found under the nickname Antimortine (currently available only in Russian):
I sometimes discuss philosophy and other topics on Twitch (mostly in Russian).

Abstract: This work proposes EPET, an integrative framework for understanding consciousness by synthesizing Predictive Processing (PP), Global Workspace Theory (GWT), and insights from Buddhist philosophy within a non-reductive physicalist metaphysics. It addresses the nature of qualia and the self.
Key Interests
Beyond AI and literature, my key interests include:
- Philosophy: Especially philosophy of mind, metaethics, Buddhist philosophy, history of ancient and 20th-century philosophy.
- Fundamental Sciences: Mathematics (foundations, logic, theory of algorithms), Physics (cosmology, fundamental theories).
- The Human Mind: Neuroscience, psychology, and psychotherapy (especially CBT, anxiety/depressive disorders, personality disorders).
